About the institution

The Ahmed Abdullah Al-Juffali Charitable Foundation is the main supporter of the Aid Center, which is a non-profit charitable organization that provides support and assistance.

For people with mental disabilities from birth to adulthood, by providing medical, educational and social services to develop their lives. The center also seeks to promote and support the law on the rights of people with mental disabilities, and to help this group integrate into society with the greatest degree of independence and obtain all their due rights.

The family of Sheikh Ahmed Al-Juffali - may God have mercy on him - continues to contribute, strive and move forward in the path of giving and assist in the development and provision of support and assistance to society and its individuals through this charitable institution.

Who we are

Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Juffali

Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Juffali - may God have mercy on him - was born in Makkah Al-Mukarramah in 1343 AH - 1924 AD to a prominent Najdi family in the city of Unaizah. At an early age, he showed a passion for charitable and free work. His life partner and companion, the honorable Mrs. Suad Al-Hussaini, said: “Ahmed was a generous person by nature from the beginning... he loved doing good...”

In the early 1940s, he founded with his brothers Ibrahim and Ali the Ibrahim Al-Juffali & Brothers Company, which played a major role in developing a number of sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Thanks to his efforts, it expanded until it became one of the largest companies that contributed to establishing the infrastructure in the Kingdom, establishing the first electrical and telephone stations, transportation, information technology and many other services such as manufacturing, engineering and construction. He headed many positions and was a board member in many bodies, institutions and banks.

Following his numerous charitable works on an individual level, stemming from his spirit of love for doing good and giving, in the year 1405 AH, he - may God have mercy on him - established the “Ahmed Al-Juffali Foundation” to provide assistance on the local and international levels and to operate and support the Aid Center.
